Our story
Otium was founded in 2020 by a team with 15 combined years in hospitality revenue management and analysis. Traveling showed us the inconsistencies of the vacation rental market and the lack of attractive, professionally run properties. That is how Otium began.
Today we pair deep local knowledge with professional operations to curate memorable stays: on the beach, in the city or in the mountains, in the most sought-after destinations across Puerto Rico and Latin America.
How we look after guests
We give high-touch service from booking through check-out and beyond. We are obsessed with every guest's satisfaction and feedback, and it starts with the properties we select and the housekeepers we hire, all the way to the home-away-from-home details we place on purpose for your comfort.
Our properties come fully furnished and stocked: hotel-grade towels, local coffee, cookware, new mattresses and fast wireless internet. And because your trip also happens outside the walls we manage, we share local activity and restaurant recommendations in Discover Puerto Rico.
